Buyers snap up first homes as Beal launches £105m Highfields development
Prestige housebuilder Beal Homes has marked the successful launch of a major new development in North East Lincolnshire, with buyers snapping up some of the first properties released.
The East Yorkshire-based housebuilder is investing £105m in the Highfields development, which will feature 525 two, three and four-bedroom homes, including several brand-new house types, on a site off Stallingborough Road in Immingham.
Buyers visited Beal’s Head Office and Design Lounge at Bridgehead business park in Hessle, East Yorkshire, to secure their preferred plots as a limited number of homes were released at the launch.
Reservations were taken across a range of properties, from two-bedroom starter homes to spacious four-bedroom detached houses.
Healthcare Assistant Abi Milner, 20, reserved her first home with her partner Jack Twinn, 23.
The couple, who both currently live in nearby Ulceby with their families, reserved a four-bedroom Thorndale, which they hope will be their “forever home” as they start their lives together.
Abi said: “As my partner is a lorry driver and often works away, we knew we wanted a new build which we could move straight into and make our own, without having to do any renovations.
“We chose the Thorndale as it’s so spacious. We really like the layout, with a large hallway and spacious living room, and were really impressed that Beal include a landscaped garden as standard.
“We can’t fault the service from Beal at all. As soon as I heard about Highfields, I got in touch to express my interest and they’ve kept me in the loop every step of the way. We’re really excited for our day in the Design Lounge to personalise our home. It will be so special to really make it our own.”
Homes currently available at Highfields are priced from £170,000 for a two bedroom mid-terrace to £333,000 for a four-bedroom detached property.
Ross Clarkson, Sales and Marketing Director of family-run Beal, said: “We were excited to launch Highfields and delighted with the response.
“It was fantastic to see so many people join us for the launch. The demand we saw confirms there’s strong appetite for high-quality new homes in and around Immingham, from both local people and those relocating to the area.
“Highfields is a landmark development that will support the area’s growth and give buyers the chance to be part of a thriving new community.”
