How to publish your news on Growth Yorkshire

We’d love to share your business news with the Yorkshire community. To get started, create an account – approval is usually instant. If you already have an account, simply log in and upload your story using our news submission form.

To keep our content professional and high quality, please submit a well-written press release along with a high-resolution landscape image (at least 900 pixels wide) that you have permission to share.

We review every submission as quickly as possible, but please allow a little time for approval. While we can’t guarantee publication, especially for overly promotional stories or those with low-quality images, we’ll always do our best to feature strong, newsworthy content.

Submission Guidelines

We welcome business news from across Yorkshire. To improve your chance of publication, please follow these guidelines:

  • Original: Submit content not published elsewhere, or rewrite it with a new headline.

  • Relevant: News must relate to Yorkshire businesses, organisations, or people, with a clear angle such as a launch, award, milestone, recruitment, partnership, or event. Avoid promotional copy.

  • Tone & length: Write factually and clearly. Aim for 500–1,200 words, though shorter, informative pieces are fine.

  • Formatting: Use short paragraphs, subheadings, and include key details like dates and names.

  • Images: Provide high-quality landscape photos (900–1000px wide, 72dpi) with captions and credits. Avoid logos, stock images, or text-heavy graphics, and ensure you have permission to share.

We cannot guarantee publication. By submitting, you confirm you hold rights to all content and images. Growth Yorkshire accepts no responsibility for inaccuracies.
