Dale Power Solutions delivers breakthrough year
Dale Power Solutions, one of the UK’s largest critical power back up engineering firms, is poised for further growth following a landmark 2025 that included a strong commercial performance, strategic acquisitions, leading sustainability achievements and major project wins.
2025 marked Dale’s 90th anniversary, during which the Scarborough-based business delivered over 20% growth in turnover. This marks four years of continued growth, and one of the strongest financial performances in the business’s nine-decade history.
Gavin Hepburn, Dale Power CEO, says the 2025 performance reflects the focus on energy resilience across the public and private sectors, and he anticipates another year of growth ahead: “The battery energy storage market is one of the fastest growing in Europe. This, coupled with an ongoing focus on energy reliability and the continued expansion of data centres, creates significant opportunities for our business through 2026.”
Last year saw Dale Power Solutions place sustainability at the centre of its operations, including commitment to renewable energy adoption both internally and externally. This commitment saw the business recognised with the AMPS Energy and Sustainability Award 2025, underscoring its leadership in clean-energy transition for critical infrastructure.
A key strategic milestone was the acquisition of Calibre Power Electronics, expanding Dale’s technical footprint into Scotland and bolstering its offshore and renewable energy Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) service and maintenance expertise.
The company also continues to play a vital role in the Yorkshire economy as a major regional employer, manufacturer and engineering exporter.
Gavin adds: “2025 has been a defining year of growth, transformation and purpose for Dale Power Solutions, where the company has become increasingly recognised as a national partner for critical power backup solutions and maintenance services by leading names in the public and private sectors. We’re excited to continue scaling our capabilities, investing in sustainable innovation, and strengthening our ties across the UK and here in Yorkshire through the year ahead.”
