Fun-loving Keighley freight company become Forget Me Not charity partner

Forget Me Not Platinum Partners President Ken Davy with Kieron Talbot-Sykes, co-owner Joda Freight

Keighley-based Joda Freight’s co-owner Kieron Talbot Sykes was welcomed to Forget Me Not children’s hospice as his haulage and warehousing company became the charity’s latest platinum partner.

Joda Freight have pledged their long-term support to help the hospice in its work supporting babies and children with life-shortening conditions and their families across West Yorkshire. They kicked off their fundraising activities with a fun day at their base in July 2024, raising over £2000 for the charity, which helps hundreds of individuals across Bradford each year, either at Russell House in Huddersfield or in families’ own homes.

Kieron said:
“Joda Freight have supported a few charities over the years, but this year have decided that we wanted a more targeted approach to supporting something that was both worthwhile and local. I used to live near the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice so were aware of the great work they do; after finding out more it was a no brainer for the whole team to throw our support behind them.”

After a tour of the children’s hospice Ken Davy, President of Forget Me Not’s Platinum Partners presented Kieron with a platinum partner plaque.

Ken said : “We’re delighted to welcome Joda Freight as a platinum partner and we thank them for their support to date. Every year more families come to us needing our help at the most difficult times in their lives. But we can only build a sustainable future for our charity with the help of partners like Joda Freight. We look forward to working with them!”
