A Yorkshire law firm is expanding its team in Leeds and investing in a recruitment drive for its city centre office to build additional capability in key practice areas including corporate, property, disputes and personal which will support increasing client demand.

LCF Law’s commitment to Leeds forms part of a wider programme of investment designed to reinforce its position as one of the city’s leading full-service law firms. The firm expanded into its 6,000 sq ft office on Park Place in 2020, where a team of 40 are now based; and is investing in increasing its visibility in Leeds city centre, with the installation of 10 branded 2.8m metre high flags along two of Leeds’ busiest streets.

Five flags have been installed on Boar Lane and a further five on Wellington Street, creating a major visual presence for the firm as it continues to expand its Leeds operations and recruit new talent.

The increased profile comes during a sustained period of growth for the Yorkshire-headquartered practice. LCF Law has recruited 26 new team members since the start of the year, which takes its total headcount to 149 across its offices in Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate and Ilkley.

The latest investment follows a series of significant milestones for the firm, including being named in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026 list, powered by WorkL, in the medium-sized business category. LCF Law is one of only a handful of UK law firms to achieve the recognition for a second time.

Earlier this year, LCF Law also launched a refreshed purpose, vision and values framework designed to support its next phase of sustainable growth, recruitment and client service.

Ragan Montgomery, Managing Partner at LCF Law, said: “Leeds is an incredibly important city for our business, and we’re committed to continuing our investment here. As we’ve grown, we’ve recognised that although we have a strong presence in Leeds, we haven’t had the visibility in the city centre that reflects the scale of our business or our ambitions.

“Installing these flags is a way of increasing our profile and demonstrating our long-term commitment to Leeds. We’re continuing to recruit talented people, invest in our teams and support businesses across the city and the wider region, so it’s important that our presence better reflects who we are today.

“Our recent growth, the launch of our values and being recognised once again as one of the UK’s best places to work all demonstrate the direction the firm is heading. We want people across Leeds to increasingly recognise LCF Law as a Leeds law firm that is investing in the city and its future.”

LCF Law is an award-winning full-service law firm operating regionally, nationally and internationally from offices across Yorkshire.
