Lovell Partnerships raises over £18,000 for The Rob Burrows Centre and Leeds Hospital Charity

Over the past two years, Lovell Partnerships has fundraised for Leeds Hospital Charity and The Rob Burrows Centre for Motor Neurone Disease (MND), raising £18,280.12 to support the vital services the charity provides to people living with MND and their families.

Every two years, within the Eastern region, a charity partner is chosen by employees. The home developer partnered with The Rob Burrows Centre to support the creation of a specialist care facility in Leeds, a cause that has touched colleagues and their communities.

Across the UK, over 5,000 people are diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease each year. The Rob Burrow Centre provides specialist care, research and support to help those living with MND and their families maintain the best possible quality of life. The centre serves patients across Yorkshire and the Humber, as well as surrounding regions, filling a critical gap in specialist MND care provision. As one of only a handful of dedicated MND care centres in the UK, it represents a significant step forward in providing accessible, expert support for those affected by this devastating disease, reducing the need for patients and families to travel long distances for specialist treatment.

Employees have hosted a wide range of fundraising activities over the two-year partnership, from charity golf and football days to marathons, dress-down days, and other events, bringing the team together for a common cause.
During the partnership, construction of The Rob Burrow Centre was completed, with the facility opening in November 2025, its doors to provide specialist MND care to patients and their families. The centre’s completion during the developer’s two-year partnership period made the fundraising efforts even more significant, as employees could see the direct impact of their support in real-time.

The Eastern region has now selected the Teenage Cancer Trust as its 2026-2028 partner, the only UK charity providing specialised nursing care and support for young people with cancer. We’re here for anyone diagnosed with cancer aged 13-24, and their loved ones too.
