PageGroup announces UK senior leadership appointments for Michael Page and Page Executive
PageGroup has announced new senior leadership appointments. Tessa Hollingworth is appointed as managing director, North and Scotland, for Michael Page, and Graham Lucas takes on the role of UK managing partner at Page Executive. The changes form part of the UK business’s recently unveiled strategic remodel, designed to reflect evolving hiring trends, better serve client needs, and empower consultants.
The new structure includes a strengthened network of hub offices to act as centres for specialism, training, and development, alongside a network of regional offices housing local experts with proximity to talent and customers. Practice directors have also been appointed across key sectors such as HR, manufacturing, technology, marketing, sales, and interim, allowing teams to align with customer needs in a highly specialised market.
Tessa Hollingworth joins as managing director, North & Scotland, Michael Page
Tessa Hollingworth joins Michael Page as managing director for the North and Scotland, bringing with her nearly 25 years of experience in the Northern recruitment market. Her career spans regional and specialism leadership roles across both permanent and interim recruitment, including two decades at Hays where she most recently served as managing director for the North West.
Her appointment will play an important role in harnessing the collective power of the hub and regional offices across the North and Scotland, connecting customers with deeper specialist expertise across the Michael Page network.
Through Tessa’s leadership, customers in the North and Scotland will benefit from closer partnership on areas ranging from long-term workforce planning, to adapting in a shifting labour market.
Tessa Hollingworth, managing director, North and Scotland, Michael Page, says: “The world of work is changing, and so are the needs of our customers. In my first month with Michael Page, I’ve been struck by the team’s agility and practical approach to innovation – particularly in how they use insight and technology to help customers plan for the future – as well as the depth of market expertise, and the strength of client relationships. As I continue to connect with the teams across our hub and regional offices, I’m focused on harnessing the collective power of our regional and specialist expertise.”
Graham Lucas takes on the role of UK managing partner, Page Executive
Graham Lucas steps into the role of UK managing partner for Page Executive, following almost two decades in senior regional and practice leadership roles at PageGroup.
In this role, Graham will leverage his extensive experience working with complex enterprises, value-creation oriented businesses, and companies undergoing change and transformation, playing a key role in partnering with customers on the evolving demands of leadership acquisition, assessment, and development.
Under Graham’s direction, Page Executive will continue to strengthen its global outlook and deepen strategic support for organisations making senior leadership appointments. This includes building on key practice areas such as board placements and interim leadership.
Graham Lucas, UK managing partner, Page Executive, says: “The excellent work the Page Executive team has delivered in recent years means I’m stepping into this role at a time of real momentum. For me, it’s a chance to support my network in placing exceptional senior and board-level talent, opening more opportunities for business growth. Having spent time with the Page Executive team across the UK in recent weeks, I’m focused on building on our existing strengths and enhancing how we support clients with their most critical leadership decisions.”
Jonathan Wiles to lead Page Executive’s global board practice
Alongside these leadership appointments, Jonathan Wiles will step into a new role focused on further enhancing Page Executive’s global board practice offering, following over a decade leading the Page Executive UK team. With his remit focused on placing chairs and non-executive directors, the newly created role reflects the business’s commitment to expanding its board-level work and supporting clients with significant leadership appointments.
Jonathan Wiles, managing partner, board practice, says: “Moving forward, my focus will be on developing Page Executive’s burgeoning global board practice. This transition reflects our commitment to expanding our reach and enhancing our capability in delivering high-level leadership appointments for our clients.
“After 12 years leading Page Executive’s growth in the UK, now is the right time for me to step away, and I look forward to watching the team’s success under Graham’s leadership. Graham’s skills and expertise will complement and enhance the existing leadership team, marking an exciting new chapter for Page Executive’s continued development.”
