Senior hire as Clearpoint Recycling sets sights on next phase of growth

Harrogate-based independent recycling and waste management company, Clearpoint Recycling has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of Jason Crooks as Group Finance Director and board member.

Clearpoint Recycling specialises in sustainable recycling, working with businesses to source locally and sell globally to reduce waste, recover resources, and advance the transition to a circular economy.

In the last 12 months, the company has expanded its international client base, opened a dedicated sales office in Lithuania and secured new long-term contracts. Jason’s appointment will support the company’s projected turnover of £20 million by 2026 and strategic growth plans.

With over 14 years of finance experience and more than a decade as an ACA Chartered Accountant, Jason brings a proven track record of delivering strategic, commercial, and operational leadership in high-growth environments.

His career spans top-tier firms BDO and KPMG, followed by senior financial leadership roles in industry at Redcentric and, most recently, IDHL Group, where he supported multi-divisional operations generating around £13 million in annual revenue and led the integration of three acquisitions.

Jason will work closely with Clearpoint Recycling’s senior leadership team to deliver the company’s next phase of growth. This will include driving strategic initiatives to expand market position and profitability, strengthening financial governance, embedding data-led decision-making, and building the infrastructure needed for scalable operations.
