WiP’s ethos is all about prioritising and empowering people, as it seeks to improve gender parity in the industry, while working towards a more inclusive and understanding society. The committees across the country are formed of member volunteers, all industry professionals, who focus their spare time and energy on the organisation’s core initiatives, including Schools Outreach, Inclusion, Mentoring and a National Student Awards programme.

Zoe said, “I am honoured to be appointed Branch Chair, to help guide our regional team. I am very much looking forward to the year ahead and continuing to work with our fabulous committee. I feel privileged to have been part of this supportive and inspiring network from an early stage in my career. Thank you to our dedicated committee members who continuously put in the effort to guarantee our events are a success and to all our members and supporters.”

The National Chair, Emma Richman’s theme this year is “People and community first”, which embraces WiP’s increasing emphasis on social mobility and breaking down the barriers to entry, in this industry. WiP plans to reflect this in its events, partnerships and messaging over the next year or so.

Women in Property is also welcoming its new Yorkshire & North East Branch Vice Chair, Kelly Brown, Solicitor at CMS, who will be supporting Zoë in the coming year, before taking on the Branch Chair role in March 2026.
