Yorkshire-Based ‘Charity Champion’ Helps the Public Discover and Support Charities Across the UK
A new, free-to-use platform, the Charity Champion, has launched to make it easier for people across the UK to find and support charities that align with their values and interests.
Founded by a team from Leeds and Bradford, the Charity Champion aims to bridge the gap between individuals wanting to give back and nonprofit organisations seeking greater visibility. The innovative Charity Finder tool allows users to search for charities based on cause, location, and area of interest—whether that’s mental health, animal welfare, environmental causes, or community support.
A One-Stop Resource for Charities and Donors
With thousands of charities operating across the UK, many struggle to gain the attention they need to thrive. The Charity Champion provides a free platform for charities to list their services, helping them connect with potential donors, volunteers, and supporters.
For the public, the platform simplifies the process of finding trustworthy and relevant charities, ensuring their contributions make a meaningful impact.
Empowering Giving in the UK
“We created the Charity Champion to make it easier for people to discover charities they might never have heard of, while giving charities a better way to reach supporters,” said Tom Sykes, Co-Founder of the Charity Champion. “By making charity discovery simple and accessible, we hope to encourage more people to get involved with causes they care about.”
Join the Movement
The Charity Champion is now live and available for use across the UK. Charities are encouraged to sign up for free, and members of the public can explore causes and organisations that resonate with them.
