Double senior hire to support growth of Yorkshire recycling company
Harrogate-based independent recycling brokerage, Clearpoint Recycling, has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointments of Neil Campbell as UK and European Sales Director and David Earle as Strategic Account Director.
The dual hire comes at a pivotal time for the business, which forecasts turnover of over £20m by the end of 2026. The firm is accelerating its growth strategy and preparing to deliver on its landmark nine-figure partnership with environmental and plastics recycling company, Enviroo, which will see the production and sale of food-grade rPET at scale.
Neil Campbell brings over 15 years of senior leadership, C-suite and board-level experience, with a strong commercial track record in business development, revenue growth, and strategic expansion. He has spent the last three years working within the B2B sustainability sector and joins Clearpoint during a significant period of momentum for the business.
In his role, Neil will lead the company’s UK and European sales strategy, with a focus on building a high-performing European operation, increasing global buying power, and overseeing the sale of 16,000 tonnes of food-grade pellet through the Enviroo partnership.
Neil Campbell commented, “Clearpoint is a business in a strong growth phase, and that was a key factor in my decision to join. It’s dynamic, ambitious, and has a clear opportunity to scale further.
“I’m looking forward to helping build a successful European presence while contributing to a sustainability-driven business with a strong, collaborative culture.”
David Earle joins as Strategic Account Director, bringing more than 35 years of international commercial experience across FMCG and packaging, including senior roles with global organisations such as Unilever, Tetra Pak and SIG Combibloc. He has extensive expertise in strategic account management, multi-market customer development, and complex commercial negotiations.
David’s background includes deep knowledge of recycling systems, packaging legislation, and circular economy frameworks, positioning him to play a critical role in shaping customer partnerships and long-term commercial strategy.
In his new role, David will focus on securing and developing high-value strategic accounts, building long-term partnerships with major FMCG brands, beverage producers, and packaging manufacturers, and supporting customers in transitioning to circular packaging models.
David Earle said, “Clearpoint offers a unique platform to apply my experience in a way that genuinely advances the circular economy. The Enviroo partnership represents a significant opportunity to transform how businesses approach recycling and rPET, and I’m excited to help drive that change by building strong, strategic customer relationships.”
Both appointments will play a central role in supporting Clearpoint Recycling’s ambitious growth plans and ensuring the successful delivery of the Enviroo contract ahead of the facility’s commissioning.
As part of the senior management team, Neil will help shape the commercial strategy and expansion of the Clearpoint–Enviroo partnership, while David will focus on building a robust pipeline of strategic customers, securing long-term supply agreements, and driving early market engagement.
Mark Garrett, Managing Director at Clearpoint Recycling, added: “These are two hugely significant appointments for the firm. Neil and David both bring exceptional experience, strong industry relationships, and a deep understanding of the commercial and sustainability challenges our customers face.
“As we move towards delivering the Enviroo project, it’s critical that we have the right leadership in place to scale effectively, build long-term partnerships, and maximise the opportunity this investment represents. Their combined expertise will be instrumental in helping us achieve that.”
Clearpoint Recycling specialises in sustainable recycling, working with businesses to source locally and sell globally to reduce waste, recover resources, and advance the transition to a circular economy.
