Hawkswell Kilvington builds London presence with senior appointment

Hawkswell Kilvington, a boutique firm of construction and engineering lawyers, has appointed Ben Mellors as a Partner to spearhead the launch of its new London office at 100 Bishopsgate.

As a Partner based at Hawswell Kilvington’s London office, Ben will be responsible for further developing the firm’s profile and driving the business forward nationally and internationally.

Ben joins from an international law firm and is a specialist construction lawyer with vast experience in the industry. He has advised clients worldwide on all aspects of construction and engineering projects, from contract drafting and negotiation to project delivery, claims and disputes. Ben is co-author of FIDIC Contracts: Law and Practice and was on the review panel for the new FIDIC Standard Form contracts.

Ben is recognised in various independent directories for both his non-contentious and contentious work, including Chambers & Partners UK and Who’s Who Legal for Construction.
